Meet the Founder

For Kwadwo (Kojo) Boakye, what began as a dream soon transformed into a concrete plan, and ultimately, a thriving reality. The Kumasi Foundation, based in Kumasi, Ghana, was originally founded as a cooperative in 1990. Its mission was simple: to support local children with food and school fees. Over time, the organization grew and evolved into a full-fledged foundation. In 2013, the Kumasi Food Foundation was officially registered as a non-governmental organization (NGO) in Ghana, continuing its vital work in the community.
